Appalachian Pulled Pork
with Original Barbecue Sauce

- 4 pounds of pork butt
- 4 cups Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbecue Sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- ½ cup steak sauce
- 1½ tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 3 cups Coca-Cola
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1 package of brioche buns
- Original Barbecue Sauce BBQ (undefined)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine mixture of Coca-Cola, Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbecue Sauce, steak sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar and brown sugar until it's mixed smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine garlic powder, pepper, chili powder, and melted butter.
- Place pork butt in the slow cooker, pour Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbecue Sauce mixture over the top of the roast. Then, pour melted butter mixture in and coat the meat well.
- If the mixture is too thick, thin it down by adding chicken broth until desired consistency.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours.
- Serve on brioche buns.
