with Sweet 'n Spicy Barbecue Sauce
time: Over An Hour | serves: 1
to 4Ingredients
- 4 pounds pork butt, boneless
- Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet 'n Spicy Barbecue Sauce
- 3/4 cup garlic, granulated
- 1/4 cup black pepper, ground
- 1/4 cup kosher salt
- 1 pound or package of frozen french fries
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Pulled Pork
- Place the pork into a large baking pan. Generously season the pork on all sides with the garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Cover with foil. Roast covered in a 350-degree convection oven for 3-4 hours, or until the pork is fork-tender, and the meat can be pulled easily apart.
- Remove, uncover and let cool for 30-60 minutes to where the pork is still hot/warm but manageable enough to be pulled apart.
- Pull the pork, slightly shredding as you separate the fat from the meat.
- Place the pulled pork on a large baking pan and mix with Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet 'n Spicy Barbecue Sauce to the desired amount. Refrigerate to cool to below 41 degrees. Cover and reserve until needed. Discard the fat.
- Fries
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Arrange fries on a large baking sheet and bake fries according to package directions. Fries may also be deep-fried.
- When fries are done, remove from the oven and top with cheddar cheese and pulled pork.
- Drizzle with BBQ sauce.
- Place back into the oven and bake until the cheese has melted, about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and place fries on a serving platter.
