Harpoon IPA BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger

with Honey Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
  • Harpoon IPA BBQ Sauce:
  • 2 cups Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Barbecue Sauce
  • 8 oz. Harpoon IPA
  • 1/4 cups fresh orange juice
  • Bacon Cheddar Burger:
  • 4 6-oz. ground beef patties
  • 4 brioche burger rolls
  • 4 pieces green leaf lettuce
  • 4 slices beefsteak tomato
  • 4 slices Vermont sharp cheddar
  • 8 strips Applewood smoked bacon, cooked
  • 8 oz. Harpoon IPA BBQ Sauce
  • Kosher salt and ground black pepper
Instructions
  • Harpoon IPA BBQ Sauce:
  • In a stainless steel bowl, mix together the Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Barbecue Sauce, the Harpoon IPA, and the fresh orange juice.
  • Reserve and refrigerate for up to 3 days. This creates 2 1/2 cups of sauce.
  • Bacon Cheddar Burger:
  • Prepare a gas or charcoal grill, season burgers with salt and pepper and place on grill. Cook to desired temperature.
  • When ready, top burger with BBQ sauce, bacon, and cheddar cheese, and melt cheese.
  • Place the bottom piece of the roll on a plate. Top with lettuce and tomato.
  • Place the burger patty on top of the tomato.
  • Place the top half of the roll on the burger.
  • Serve and enjoy with your choice of side.
